Combining Camaraderie with Creativity

Ken Chasin Exhibit

ChasinCVWG member Ken Chasin writes: I will be having a one-man exhibit of my water color paintings at the Northside Library in Charlottesville during the month of December.

I create landscapes and seascapes based on photos I’ve taken while traveling around the USA. I use a combination of water color paint, water color pencil and pen and ink. I am especially fascinated by the art of perspective.

My biggest art achievement was when my water color painting of Georgetown, Maine harbor appeared in the June 2011 page of the 2011 AARP Foundation Calendar. Over 800,000 copies of the calendar were produced and the painting was auctioned of at the AARP Foundation Conference held in Orlando, Florida in September 2010.
